The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative showcasing celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in power within the city.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, separate from the other two tables.

This warrior group includes the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might appear out of place, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the party understands precisely where to go next after a intense initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, beyond the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could assist the party reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight players to round up the Questers and Strategists tables.

Viewers can expect learning which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
