Sir Keir Starmer plans to press allies to deliver Ukrainian forces with further long-range missiles to strike Moscow's positions during discussions in London on Friday.

Britain's leader is set to welcome President the Ukrainian head of state alongside the so-called "group of committed partners", consisting of more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have pledged to offer the Ukrainian government protection commitments once hostilities pause is brokered.

The Ukrainian leader has been urging for several weeks for more extended-range systems from allied countries, a move that Russia has stated would intensify the hostilities.

President Zelensky is travelling from the EU capital, where he held talks with EU leaders on yesterday pursuing funding aid.

Britain's leader will encourage leaders to ramp up the supply of long-range weapons following an effective attack on an industrial facility in the Russian city, the Russian Federation, using Britain-delivered advanced weaponry.

"Furthermore, his brutal attacks on innocent children in a preschool this week demonstrate that abundantly clear," he continued.

Two children were included in at least seven fatally wounded in numerous Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory, which hit a preschool facility in the important metropolitan area the eastern city.
